Upper Two started the new year with a day of fun at reflection at the retreat centre at New Hall School. Our day started with mass in the beautiful chapel, celebrated by Fr Andrew, who reminded us that God will always be with us in homily based on the Baptism of Jesus in the River Jordan. It was a wonderful way to begin the day and our energy was boosted with some rousing hymns, accompanied by the impressive chapel organ. Following a delicious snack and drink, Regan took us to the Astro turf to play some outdoor games. The class competed with healthy enthusiasm and competitiveness.
The afternoon was spent in the chaplaincy centre, where the children were offered a number of different activities to complete in quiet reflection, finishing with a meditation session.
The whole class had a fantastic day thanks to the warm welcome they all received from Regan and Rachel and the New Hall staff.
