School Council

The School successfully introduced a School Council in 2006, comprising of two representatives from each Junior class. The School Council  is currently led by Mr. Moody. The council members are democratically elected each year by the individual Junior class members. Regular meetings are held within the school year, so that the children can discuss matters pertinent to them raised by their peers. These matters are decided upon during class meetings led by the class councillors the week prior to the council meeting.

Eco Council

The Eco Council was introduced in 2021 and is formed of two representatives from each Infant and Junior class who are passionate and dedicated to looking after the world and the environment in school. The team are led by Mrs. Macdonald and meet half termly and raise ideas and initiatives. The Eco Council were instrumental in designing and planning for the opening of St Angela’s Garden in 2022 as part of the school’s action plan for the CAFOD ‘Live Simply’ award in which we are striving to live simply, live sustainably with creation and live in solidarity with the poor.
