Traditional Values

Caring atmosphere and fair discipline.

Teaching

Positive relationships with enthusiastic teachers.

Diverse Curriculum

Educating the whole child.

Our principle objective is to provide the children with a sound Catholic, moral, social and academic education in a disciplined environment. We realise that the children learn most effectively when they are happy and well motivated.

In order to achieve this, the School creates a happy and caring atmosphere founded on traditional values and fair discipline. The School seeks to establish the conditions that will allow pupils to achieve their full potential in all areas of school life. Therefore, the school provides a diverse curriculum and an extensive extra-curricular programme incorporating music, drama, art and sport. The children are also prepared where appropriate, for scholarship examinations, Common Entrance Examinations and entry papers for other schools.

The recent ISI report proves that this formula is working. “The pupils experience many successes both inside and outside the classroom, which owes much to the positive relationships they enjoy with their enthusiastic teachers.”

Neil Roskilly, former Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Schools’ Association, announced to all the parents of the school that he had the responsibility for reading all of the inspection reports and the Ursuline Preparatory School report was one of the most outstanding reports he had ever read.
