Upper 2 had an absolutely magical time on their visit to the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studios in Watford. The children thoroughly enjoyed their tour which began in the Great Hall, the doors of which were opened by our birthday boy, Ismail. From there the children loved finding out all about how the films were made including props, costumes and special effects such as green screen technology. After a slightly terrifying wander through the Forbidden Forest and a visit to platform 9 ¾ the Upper Twos had their lunch which for most came with an accompaniment of delicious Butter Beer. In the afternoon the class continued to stamp their passports and search for golden snitches whilst visiting Privett Drive, Diagon Alley, Gringotts Bank and the stunning Hogwarts model. The highlight of the day was of course the shop, where the whole class made purchases to remind them of their fantastic day (most of which were consumed on the coach on the way home!).

Huge thanks must go to all of the muggle helpers who accompanied us on our Hogwarts adventure. The trip was great fun and links to our English SATs revision work which has a Harry Potter theme.
