We were thrilled to welcome author Tamsyn Murray to our school on Tuesday as part of our Book Week celebrations. Our day started with a whole school assembly during which Tamsyn talked to us about her journey to becoming an author and the inspiration she had taken from her love of animals including telling us some hilarious anecdotes about naughty dog Lily.
Tamsyn then spent the rest of the day storytelling with the Pre-Prep department, leading character workshops with Intermediate and Transition and story planning workshops with Lower One, Upper One, Lower Two and Upper Two. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time with Tamsyn who thought they were ‘fabulous – attentive, enthusiastic and bubbling over with brilliant ideas.’
