On Tuesday 14th October, the girls football teams from Lower and Upper One competed in a District U9’s football tournament. The children played very well, managing to win five matches and drawing once in the final game. They showed great resilience throughout the tournament and were crowned joint District winners.
In the afternoon, we returned with the Lower and Upper Two girls Football team, to play in the District U11’s football tournament. The girls again played incredibly well managing to win all their matches and were crowned District champions.
They now go through to the county finals in November.
