The children braved the cold and windy airfield of Duxford to learn about the History of Flight as part of their History topic. They went to British Airspace and explored Concorde, walked through the Comet and found out about passenger planes. We saw a piece of cloth which was taken from the Wright flier and sequenced the ages of different planes. They also went to the American Hanger and found out about planes such as the B52 Bomber and the Blackbird spy plane. The children were complimented on their excellent behaviour and organisational skills!
