Lower Two were invited to take part in a Harry Potter-themed day at New Hall School.

The magical experience began with a Sorting Ceremony, during which House Captains were chosen. Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of exciting activities, earning points for their houses along the way. These points were then totalled to decide the winner of the Quidditch Cup.

The children enjoyed a Herbology lesson, where they planted snake’s head fritillary bulbs and decorated their own pots. They also visited ‘Hagrid’s farm’, where they had the opportunity to handle or stroke a variety of animals, including horses, ferrets, rabbits, and even a blue-tongued skink. The day continued with a Potions class, where the children had great fun creating their very own Polyjuice Potion.

Lunch was a buffet style feast themed around Hogwarts dining room. After lunch they played a game of Quidditch and finally finished with a music lesson, where they made an organ.

All the children from the participating schools then gathered together for the final announcement, where the winning house, Ravenclaw, was revealed.

All of the children thoroughly enjoyed the day.
