With help from our wonderful PFA the school celebrated the King’s Coronation in style with a Coronation Celebration Street Party on Friday.

The school was ablaze with flags, bunting and balloons and the hall was transformed into a whole school dining room fit for royalty! All children (and staff) wore red, white and blue and the winners of our crown and picture competition were announced.

The children and staff enjoyed lunch provided by the PFA and the children sang the national anthem while waving their union jack flags. Finally, no party would be complete without a visit from the ice cream van which brought great excitement- it was a wonderful way to mark the reign of our new King!
