E-Safety week kicked off with a whole school assembly where the children at UPS were treated to an unseen poster of Bluey’s latest film, which was the next instalment of the Star Wars franchise, the new Iron Man 5 film with cameo appearances from the DC universe and our one and only Mrs. Wilson showing off her snowboarding skills and her gold medal achieved in Beijing at the Winter Olympics in 2022. Amazing you might say, but these were all generated using the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which was the theme for this years Internet Safety Day (Tuesday 10th February 2026)
Children throughout the school completed a range of activities to do with a variety of e-safety topics including keeping information secure, fake news on the web, the importance of being kind, using AI purposefully to name a few.
