Upper Two celebrated finishing their ten-week PHSE ‘Life Skills’ programme with a graduation ceremony this week. The children have been learning about how to make the safe and healthy choices which they will need as they develop into adulthood and beyond as part of their preparations for September’s transition to senior school. The online ceremony was attended by DAaRT Officer Spencer, who has taught these crucial lessons this term. During the celebration each of the children shared an extract from their DAaRT (Drugs Alcohol and Resilience Training) Report, where they had written about the skills and information they had learnt: responsibility, pressure, peer pressure, confident communication, bullying and cyberbullying, risks and consequences, stress, and recognising their support networks.

We are very proud of the way the children have responded to the course and grateful for the parents for their support; both through the programme and on the day of the graduation.
