Music

The School plays an active part in both local and national Music Festivals and competitions.

We have a school choir, music group and a newly formed school band. These groups regularly play at school assemblies and Mass.

Drama

We are very fortunate to be able to offer specialist Drama Tuition in addition to Theatre Club which is available to all  Upper Junior pupils.  The children follow the LAMDA Awards Scheme.  Please click here to find out more information.

As part of the curriculum the pupils have weekly music lessons on Tuesdays with Mrs J. Austin, concentrating on creative music, notation, rhythm, styles, instruments and cultures.

On Friday all children have music with Mrs M. Irwin-Parker. From Transition upwards children learn to play the recorder. All children in the Junior School prepare for music examinations which take place three times a year.
