Christmas Bazaar 2019
The PFA once again organised this very popular event. The children really enjoyed their own personal shopping experience and were able to buy lots of presents for their families and friends. The school appreciates that it takes a whole year to plan and buy for this event but it is so worthwhile, both as a fundraiser for those less fortunate than our own community and for the children themselves. A huge thank you to all of the members of the PFA that made this event possible and to all the helpers on the day.

Fireworks Night 2019
On Saturday 9th November our annual Firework party was organised by our dedicated P.F.A. committee. The event was full of wonderful sideshows, delicious food and of course the exciting fireworks organised by Mr Peters. Sadly, the weather was wet and windy but this did not deter our dedicated parents who turned up in their weather-proof attire. The event was very well supported despite the weather with over 350 people supporting the evening. Thank you to Mrs Halford, Chair of PFA for organising the event.
Summer Ball 2019
This year the venue was changed to Greenwood’s and was beautifully decorated in the theme of A Midsummers Night’s Dream by Mrs Herbert and Mrs Robins – the attention to detail was second to none! The evening was a tremendous success and the PFA raised a considerable sum for the school. The event was very much enjoyed by all those that attended. A special note of thanks must go to Mrs Halford and her very hard-working team for all their efforts.
Fireworks Night 2018
This annual celebration took place on Saturday 3rd November and was thoroughly enjoyed by all the members of the school community. Parents, children and school staff enjoyed refreshments ranging from locally made Gluhwein; hot chocolate made with cream and marshmallows or for the adults a touch of Bailey's; doughnuts with icing and sprinkles as well as hot dogs and popcorn! There were fairground rides for all ages and lots of trampoline fun. The fireworks were excellent as always and well organised by Mr Peters and his team. Many thanks to the PFA for all their efforts in organising this event. Visit the Gallery

BRITISH FOOD WEEK 2018
Our British Food Week marked a tremendous end to our half-term! Our unending thanks goes to the PFA members and parents who gave up their time and fridge space to make this run smoothly and memorable! Each and every child was so excited at break times and there was a real buzz and smell of cucumber in the air!
Fireworks Night 2017
On Saturday 4th November the PFA organised a fun packed evening. With activities and rides for the children as well as a BBQ and refreshment stand for all. The firework display was very colourful and delighted both adults and children alike. The evening was not only a great fundraiser for the school but also allowed families, children and staff to enjoy the annual celebration as a community. A special thank you to Mr Peters and his team for organising the display.
British Food Week 2017
Following the great success of our British Food week last year, the PFA kindly agreed to re-open the UPS café for one week to serve some British delights. This was to promote British values and all week the children were given a sample of Traditional British Foods at break-time.
The UPS Café
Monday: Cream Tea (Cucumber sandwiches and cake)
Tuesday: Toad in the Hole
Wednesday: Apple crumple and custard
Thursday: Scone, clotted cream and Tiptree jam.
The children would have liked this cafe to be open every day, they they will all have to wait for next year. A tremendous thank you to members of the PFA for making the end of half term a real British Treat!
Easter Egg Hunt 2017
A huge thank you to PFA for organising this event. The children loved all the Easter characters and enjoyed searching for their chocolate surprises!
Christmas Bazaar 2015
The PFA Christmas Bazaar was a tremendous success this year thanks to the army of PFA helpers. All the children thoroughly enjoyed being able to choose and buy gifts for their friends and family. The Mayor of Brentwood also paid a visit and enjoyed doing some Christmas shopping of his own! The event also raised over £2000 for the charity SNAP. Visit the Image Gallery

British Food Week 2016
The children enjoyed extra special mid-morning break times this week. To celebrate British Food Week, the PFA treated the children to typically British dishes each day, starting with Cream Tea on Monday, jelly and ice cream on Tuesday, Toad in the hole on Wednesday, jam roly-poly and custard on Thursday and fish and chips on Friday. The children enjoyed all the treats and the daily tasters helped to re-enforce a commitment to British values taught in their PSHE scheme of work throughout the school. The whole week was classed a great success thanks to the parents who gave up their time to prepare and serve the food. All the staff were delighted with the children's enthusiasm and appreciation of all things British.
